I was back in chandigarh after nearly four years, my last visit to the City Beautiful was in 2013, there are still memories fresh from that visit.
- People enjoying boating at Sukhna Lake
This time i came here on on my way to delhi, and instead i spent few days here exploring the city. During my last trip i remember visiting many places like Rock garden, Sukhna lake, Sector 17, Manimajra, Mansa devi temple, the new big malls were a craze during those days in the city.
- Rock Garden a wonderful creation of Nek Chand
So this time i decided that i will relive my those days memories but on that i will aslo explore a new place, where i haven't been yet. After searching the internet, i found an interesting place called Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial, just like me, my other friends also heard about it for the first time, further when i read, it said Fateh Burj, largest minaret in India now it became even more Interesting.
- Fateh Burj one of the tallest minaret in India
I had earlier seen the pictures and it looked to me that the best time will be to visit it is during the sunrise or sunset. So we decided that we will visit it the evening during sunset.

The view of the Fateh Burj and the nearyby memorials during lighting after sunset in the small adjacent pond is too beautiful and not to be missed

After visiting the memorial i can say that 'Fateh Burj' is a new addition in the Beauty of Chandigarh/Mohali, Punjab and world. I would advice to visit this monument during the Sunrise or Sunset, at that time the views are just spectacular.

After the sunset the lighting is done in the lighting the monuments look even more beautiful. it is full of history dedicated to the Sikh Misils Who fought against the Mughals.
If you happen to be in Chandigarh do visit this place.
